Steven Brandt has been a professional photographer since he was 20 years old. His career started in the High Sierras, making ski films and brochures for various resorts and ski equipment manufacturers. Gradually his business shifted exclusively to still photography. He operated a full service photography studio for 25 years in a small town near San Francisco, and became nationally recognized as an accomplished photographer.
The Professional Photographers of America awarded him the degree of "Master of Photography" in 1991. Along the way, he became a "Fellow" of the Professional Photographers of California, and also earned the title of "Certified Professional Photographer."
His competition awards include "Best Portrait of the Year" in the San Francisco Bay Area, and "Best Wedding Album of the Year" in the Western United States. He has been a speaker/instructor for the Professional Photographers of America national & regional conventions, as well as many local groups.
Steven now lives in Valparaiso, Indiana, along with his wife Anne and 2 sons.
